St. George - The Heart of Wild Blueberries, Salmon, and Seafood!
The Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival celebrates St. George- A Community Strong as the “Home of the Big Blueberry.” 
St. George, NB is the place where the Magaguadavic River meets the Bay of Fundy. Over the years, where the old meets the new, the culture and livelihood has evolved from granite, to shipbuilding, to lumbering, to where now it is the heart of wild blueberries, salmon and seafood.

​​​​The 2017 week-end, festival will highlight the local: wild blueberries, culinary, tasting, foodie activities, music, art, beauty pageant, antique car show, customer appreciation, farmers market, Community Church Service, fundraising events for a “Cause” -  hoop-athon, ScotiaBank yard sale, and New for 2016 - Blueberry Pie Contest and a  Soap Box Derby and ending the festival with our "Light Parade of Memories" with a ceremony honouring Our Heros the First Responders, and Sunset Memories - a Floating Lantern Ceremony.  Something for everyone!
